SHADOW FLIGHT
In Shadow Flight, Michelle Solomon positions the hare within shifting atmospheric fields, where form appears and recedes between presence and concealment.
Working in ink and bleach on paper, the images emerge through processes of addition and reduction, allowing light to be drawn from darkness.
The hare holds a tension between stillness and flight.
